I know my posting is a long shot, but I haven't anything to lose.After 10 years I am Still looking for information on my Great Great Grandfather John QUIRK.
What information I have is:
From John's Marriage Certificate, John states he was Born in Dublin, Ireland, c.1835 ??. John States his Parents were:
John QUIRK & Mary LOUGHLIN.
John also states that his father John QUIRK Snr was a Soldier.
To this day I have never been able to find these so called parents or siblings.
John Migrated out to Australia
. He Married a fello Irish girl Eliza (Elizabeth CORCORAN) From Tipperary,Ireland in 1865,Kyneton,Victoria,Australia.
Eliza's parents were Elizabeth SPILLAINE & John CORCORAN.
I once tried to find a Shipping Record for John and came up with about 50 John QUIRK'S.
