Looking for any info on the census for James Richard Reeves. In the 1881 census lists his birth at Deptford Kent in 1845.

He is married to Rachel and they have three children - Rachel, Henry and Emily.  Young Rachel is born in Kent while the youngest are  born in Middlesex.

You guys are the greatest!

I have been looking for my great grandfather for ever.  Family did not know much and I couldn't get a response from a relative that would have known the info.  But I had a scrap of paper with three names from 30 years ago that everyone said did not mean a thing.  I broke down and ordered a marriage cerficate and received it yesterday.

I have been looking in Essex all this time, did not know James name- I had been told is was a Henry.  Lot of wrong ways on this genealogy highway!!!

Went to sleep last night knowing hardly anything and wake up to your infol.  Going to be a great day!

Will mull and snoop around with this info - might be back asking more questions.

I know this is an old request, but there is now a baptism for James Richard REEVES on the IGI http://www.familysearch.org 1845 Deptford St Paul which confirms parents as John and Jane

Thank you for the info - I have been doing research on all sides of the family (my husbands and mine) to leave for our kids.  I go back and forth between families but sometimes info comes in that sends me back in that direction!
