Hi Hilty

I've found the birth cert of your Jessie Anne Fraser, born as you said and in Leachkin, Inverness. The parents were also as you have recorded. The GROS is 098/00/0088.

The same applies for mary Elizabeth Cameron, born 23 Jan 1900 at Charlestown Farm, Inverness and her mother's m.s. was Ada Lyness. The GROS is 098/00/0089/

I've been unable to find anything for Robert David McBran, not even his parents marriage.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Hello

It appears the 1900 birth of Robert David is indexed on SP under McBEAN....

GROS ref 098/00 0090.  In the indexer's defense it does look a bit like an "e".... :-\

Best wishes
Jean

Hi Jean

I'm not sure where you're located but I meant to say that I'm in Inverness so if there is anything else I can help you out with, give me a shout.

Thanks very much for your help Nick. I have learned the Jessie Fraser above is not the Jessie in my family tree unfortunately. The other names were extras which came along with other names I was researching. My hope was to offer them out to anyone who may recognize the names. I'm in the USA and just spent a few weeks this summer in Inverness......one day spent in the Genealogy dept at the library.  I may call upon you later if I need any other information.....thanks for the offer!  Hilty
