Missing Great Grandfather Part 2
« on: Monday 19 June 06 17:26 BST (UK) »
Further to my earlier post, I have had lots of really helpful info and advice, so thanks to everyone who has made contact.

I now think my missing great grandfather could have been in New Orleans in 1920.  Would someone be able to check the census for me.

His details are:
George Hamilton born 1878 Kingston on Thames, England, occupation Plumber (possibly)

Any help would be most appreciated

I saw that you found a draft card. Do you know if he served in WWI? (Does his obit say he was a veteran?)

Hi
Thanks for your post.
I'm not sure whether he served in WW1.  The Obit definitely doesn't say anything about being a veteran.
