I was useless at stoolball always on the subs bench, never was one for sports, played a bit of hockey though.  Goodness me brings back some memories ::)  I used to bicycle to the stoolball matches at Amberley, many a happy hour spent under the chestnut trees ;)

It seems Amberley still have a team! and did quite well last season in the Chanctonbury Ladies League.

I couldn't run very fast but I had a powerful hit!!!!

One of my previous jobs we decided to have a stoolball match every year, social workers against admin and community workers.  Quite a lot of fun!
