What parish does Dungarvan come under- i'm not meaning to sound stupid but i'm really not sure ?  :-[

now  you have me feeling  dumb.... Didn't know it had parishes... Dungarvan  I thought  was a parish  in its own  right. If you want to get  technical its Saint Mary's Parish, Dungarvan???

Unless someone  knows  different.........Why do you ask???

Now i really do feel stupid !! i get so confused over the meaning ' parish's  i had to ask but i didn't actually know Dungarvan was a parish !!! my dad would be so ashamed to know i didn't know that !! :-[

Yes it's interesting thankyou ! it is one i haven't come across before even though i've been looking for fam history for over a year ( and i know it can take years !! )
