Edith SALMON- RODGERS Stepney
« on: Thursday 15 June 06 18:57 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find the birth of Edith Salmon born Stepney c 1826. Also her Marriage to ???? Rogers in the same area(stepney, mile end, old town) c1840- 1855, and second marriage 1850 - to 1865 to Joseph Orton.
Any help would be useful. I have nor been able to find Edit on the 1841 census or the 1861 either.
Thanks
Janet

You say you haven't found Edith on the 41 or 61 census- presumably that implies you DO have her in 1851 or later?

If you post the full details here, one of us will try and find her in the other two census years. It will be easier to follow her through if we can see her in one of them.

You won't of course find her birth pre 1837 registration- online. That can oly be done if you're lucky enough to find her on the IGI or by searching through parish records.

All the best

Carol
