Marriage for Williams/Keener
« on: Thursday 15 June 06 12:54 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone

I don't know if there are indexes for marriages in the United States like there are in the UK, but I would to find where and when the marriage took place for the following couple:

Philip John Williams born 1859 Gloucestershire, UK
Charlotte E Keener born about 1864 Pennsylania, US

The wedding probably took place in Pennsylvania and possibly at York around 1889.

Any information will be of interest.

I am still looking for this couple and their children in the 1900 census.

Kind regards

Roger

Marriages in Pennsylvania are held at the county courthouse where the marriage took place. There is no statewide index.

I found your Phillip in 1910 in bradford county. He is listed as a minister. There is much info on 2 pages. Rather than risking typos,
