Does any live at Bo'ness or near by
« on: Tuesday 13 June 06 10:29 BST (UK) »

Hi everyone, :)

These Bells are very confusing, does anyone have access to the cemetarys at Bo'ness who may be able to look for a grave for me.

I still searching for James Bell married Elizabeth Snaddon 1819 he died before 1851 there is no death certificate that I can find on Scotlands People or IGI I am still trying to find his parents. I worked out if he married in1819 and married around the age of 26/27 would make him born around 1792/93. there is only 2 bells listed on Scotlands People having a son James between 1790/1830 they are Alexander Bell/Isabel Jarvie James born 7/4/1790 andJohn Bell/Agnes Bisset James born 18/3/1798. One of these has to be my Jame's parents but which one. I am hoping someone from Bo'ness could help me out maybe the old parish records could have him listed at Bo'ness itself. Cannot find anything else out from Scotlands Peolpe.

Appreciate any help at all.

Thanks

Hello

I checked a book listing pre 1855 West Lothian monumental inscriptions. Your James or Elizabeth are not mentioned in the book. The Old Parish Records for Bo'ness include rather good burial registers which are worth checking. You can order them via the Mormon Church at www.familysearch.org
