I am interested in any details regarding John Hill of 72 and 6 Ellison St Hebburn. He married Beneniss Ingles Wood, the only evidence I have traced is a birth certificate dated 1878 for my great great great grandfather Robert Vart Hill. John and Beneniss had other children;Bennieness, Alice Maud,Helen and possibly Isabella. Robert Vart married Anne Kane in 1898. I have traced Johns father as William Hill,French Polisher, Newcastle
Miller family -Staffordshire, Leicestishire Cumberland,Pennysylvania.Auckland.
Hill family- Northumberland,Durham, Cumberland.
Woodward- Staffordshire.
Roberts- Flintshire, Cumberland
Fisher Cumberland, Lancashire
Taylor Cumberland, Lancashire,Durham

John had a brother, William Charles Hill, b1848, Middlesex.
John with his Parents in the 1861 Census & sister Mary. William was in Boarding School.
1871 Census shows John an Orphan, living with a family at 60 Nixon St, South Shields.
This fits in with death of parents, Father 1870, & Mother, 1867.
William, a french polisher, like his father, with wife Sarah Elizabeth Law, & 4 children, arrived in Australia July 5, 1885, per ship "Chimborazo".
I am researching for a Hill descendant, her in South Australia
