How do I send a message to another member?

Adding a reply on the post that interests you would be a good place to start. 

For Personal messages, have a look at the Help pages here:

http://www.rootschat.com/help/pms.php

You need to make 2 or 3 posts before you can access the personal message system.  The site is set up so that less than serious posters (those who join just to post links to dubious sites, for example) cannot use the system.

Please stay with us, make another post or two -? perhaps ask a family history question and then you can use the system.

I am a new member and I have posted a couple of messages regarding my ancestors.
I received an enquiry from someone but there is no option to reply to them.
I have read all of the FAQs but that didn't help.
Can somebody please tell me how to reply to a message when there is no "Reply" button anywhere on the screen?

Hmm, seems that I need to post a couple of messages before I can use PMs, replies, etc - how strange.
