Julia - thankyou indeed - that is intriguing

The ages seem to be exactly right, even down to the 9 months for the baby. My Milward family certainly owned land at Studley from at least 1819, so the place is good too. Three servants is about right also, though unfortunately none of the servants listed here coincides with the family's servants later on.
The names - well, if this is them:
Henry Charles becomes Henry - fine
Catherine Sarah becomes Charles - hmmm...
John Frederic becomes James
Mary Jane becomes Mary - fine
Robert Harding becomes Richard
Victor becomes Valentine
Well, they all have the right first initial! And I can't trace a separate family later on with a Valentine etc (or a baptism/civil birth reg. for a Valentine Milward).
I wonder whether the household census form was filled in by a servant with poor handwriting so that the enumerator could just about make out the first initial and had to guess at the rest.
As I say, intriguing - many thanks for drawing this to my attention. I will investigate further
