meryl, that information is from his entry in 'soldiers died in the great war'

it was originally a set of books but has now been put on CD

Thanks for all your help Chris!  My cousin will be visiting England this summer and she has booked a tour guided trip to the cemetery in Belgium.

i'd also recommend a visit to tyne cot cemetery
