I am trying to trace a sister of William Harold STEEL. He was born in 1887 in Rotherhithe, son of William Charles STEEL (born Bermondsey 1864) and Elizabeth BASTARD, (born Billericary 1863).
William's sister was Ethel May STEEL born Beckinham 1893. She married a JAY and sometime, either before or after the wedding moved to Colchester as she was there in 1954, making her 61 years old.
I also have a mystery man William Landell STEEL who attended Mt. Granville House School in 1876 and 1877. I have his academic medals in my possession but have no idea who he is.
Looking for anyone who is tracing this family which originated in Bermondsey.
