Swindale, Ulric Frederick (1855-1907 abt.)

If anyone comes across an Ulric Frederick Swindale ( 1855-1907), who was married in London (but don't know his place of birth) please let me know. I've come up empty in the census. It's an unusual name, so I would've thought it wouldn't be a problem.  Anyone have any ideas?

Only a possible, but could be yours.

Elius Swindale, 1881 Census Legbourne, Lincoln birth year 1851.

1881 Census was taken 3 & 4 April.  So if he was born before 3rd April 1850 he would have been 51 in the Census of 1881.  It is possible his name could be Elias.

Legbourne Registers, on IGI,  for Births go to 1838.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you to thank you. Thanks for the suggestions and the info. Yes, I do think an error was probably made when the census takers wrote his name down. I'm following up on an 1881 Census  listing for an Alric Swindale.
