Thanks Tricia and Annie,

I thought I was going mad (or my computer was - or BOTH!!)  ??? ::)

I have tried again this morning and the speed is OK - thank goodness  ;D - maybe because more people are on (which sounds strange but who cares - it's better  :D)

Thanks
Di

I'm having problems with other sites too, of course it could just be down to a country of kids who are playing on the computer because it's school holidays and it's too:
cold, wet, damp, dank, cloudy, etc to be outside!!!! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Hi Lady Di,

I see that you are in OZ. You are probably connecting via the Southern Cross Cable that links Oz to the USA and then the World.

There has been  a major fault on the cable at the US end that was causing problems with viewing some sites, depending on what ISP you use in OZ.

The fault may be fixed now as I am having no difficulties.

Thanks Paul,

I hope it's all OK now. I found that evening (my time) was the worst, the mornings are OK (and that doesn't sound like me at all!! ;D)
