1881 Census John is a widow age 70 living with his married daughter Hannah Maria Holdsworth age 34 wife of Edward a stone mason at 22 Crabtree Place.

Thank you Amondg.   Hannah Maria Holdsworth rings big bells.   Charles Hutton who was living with his wife Mary Hutton nee Holdsworth in one of the Hutton cottages in 1841 had a daughter Hannah from that marriage.  When his wife Mary died, then Charles married her sister Maria Holdsworth.     My gt.grandfather Thomas Hutton who had to have known the Holdsworth family well then named his daughter Hannah Maria.
The Holdsworth girls' parents were William and Phoebe Holdsworth and there is a query as to whether there were more children.
The Hutton's went to the Independent Chapel at Horton before the Eccleshill Chapel was built.
I shall now look for Hannah Maria Holdsworth.

Thanks again Amond.    Now this makes me smile.   You see my grandfather was christened Albert Edwin Hutton but he hated the name Edwin - why we don't know.  Anyway he always signed his name as Albert Edward Hutton.    They called him 'Ned'.
Late in the day now, so must close continue my searches tomorrow.

Have you had a look here yet: www.calverleyinfo.com
Just enter Jowett into the surname box in Vital Records Search. (123 pages of them) :o
[Even lists some Quakers named Jowett]

Note: I have the 1851 census of Bradford if needed for reference!
