Where do I start
« on: Monday 29 May 06 17:27 BST (UK) »
I have been told that my ancestor/s served in the forces some in WW1 others in India WW2 but I have absoloutley no idea whatsoever how to even begin to find out if they even enlisted or were called up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Kev

Check out the 'Armed Forces Resources' board, but for a start here's an easy way to start for WWI records; check if they're on the medal rolls:

(some other military records are also on that site).
