Thanks for the info, I wonder if they are related to Noel Stubbs ETHELL. Or are they another family.

I have the early info on Noel also his Navy service record upto him leaving the UK for Canada, also his father & step-mother remained in the UK.

Just found this (Oct 2013).
It is probably well dated however....
Noel Stubbs Ethell married Margaret (Madge) Hutchison on 23 July 1932 in Vancouver.
Their only child, Donald Stewart Ethell ( born 23 July 1937 in Vancouver) is currently the Lt. Gov. of Alberta and represents the Queen of England in the province of Canada.
"Don" is my second cousin.
I have information to share on the Hutchison side.
