HINCE
« on: Sunday 28 May 06 13:16 BST (UK) »
I want to trace descendants of William & Mary Hince m 1832. Shropshire
Daughter Elizabeth and hubby Frederick Blakey produced children in Liverpool, Glasgow and Leeds.
William and Jane lived in Manchester
Samuel Wesley and family lived in Manchester, Hulme and Tarporley.
Jemima and William Walker raised children in Birmingham, Munslow, Carnarvon and Cheltenham

They were a well travelled family.  Are there any descendants out there?
regards  Pat

Hello Pat

Have you found the HINCE family on any of the census returns?

Let us know exactly what information you have on the family, and maybe someone will recognise the names.

Also, checkout the Rootschat Surname Interest Table http://surname.rootschat.com/

Good Luck!!

Jan

Hi Pat!

I've only just seen your posting from three years ago - William & Mary were my great great grandparents.  William was born in 1805 (son of John and Ann Hince I believe), and they had 9 children - John, Elizabeth, William, Samuel, Mary, Thomas, Charles, Annie and Jemima. Have you had any more replies?

Haven't been on the site for a while so have just found your message.  We must be related as I come down from son Charles.

I'm delighted to meet you Pat - there must be a lot of us out there as descendants of nine children but I'm only in contact with two other distant cousins.
