Hi Pat. sorry I did say John's Lane is now closed this is wrong in fact there are many people still living there, I was thinking of Powers lane, in John St which is closed and not John's Lane I was doing another thing for another lady who's g/grandparents came form there. Jim

Jim can I scan them to you  as  some go back to 1890s  thats when he joined the army    1897 /1909  he re/ enter the army1911  some of the print is hard to understand regarding 1914/ 1920  we a medal card plus some history of his military service   ther was a lot lost in 1939/1945  will that be alright with you if so my son will look after that
