Jim  can you help  I am lookingfor the records for john kiely  born 14/4/1847joanna kiely born 21/1/1849 the came from gows lane  of ballybricken  fathers michael mothers madien alice kirby that was my grandmother father her dads name ws james  mother madien name warren..

3   Michael Kiely, born 7th Sep 1869,
4   Patrick Kiely, born 28th Dec 1875,
5   Elizabeth Kiely, born 24th Nov 1877,
6   Bridget Kiely, born 1st Aug 1880 married Michael Fitzgerald,
7   Catherine Kiely, born 29Th Oct 1883,
8   James Kiely, born 17th Sep 1887,

Good on youthere were also alice16/12/1871  this family was from john lane but there are not in 1901/1911 census  i remmber been thaken there with my mother in the 50s   iwill go through  the kielys  papers later

Hi Pat Your Alice of 1871, was down to James Kiely & Alice Kiely, in St John's Church books, with address of New St which is just around the corner of John's lane, which is now closed. Jim

information i have is that edward liely had nine children  five boys /four girls coult this be right? johns lane/ browns lane  it seem there were kielys there my late mother was born in browns 19/5/1905 name mary catherine or maia catherina i have no birth cert for her
only a certificate of baptism ihave a marriagecert for margaret kiely  1948 5 johns lane to james hertherington..

Hi Pat, Mary was born 19th May 1905, to Michael Fitzgerald & Bridget Kiely, Browns Lane, and Margaret Kiely did marry a James Heathering of O Brien St St John's 7th June 1948, so that would makes you related to a friend of mine Arthur Heathering, who now lives in Kilburn, and there was a lady some months back named Sandra on rootsweb looking for Heathering's from Waterford.

Jim you learn something every day little did I know when I started this researching I am now getting  to have more relations that i never knew of JIm I havebeen looking for my late  birth cert  i asked at cork road but no lucknot sure if she was born outside  waterford as her dad was in the royal irish regiment its looking for  pin in a haystack her name you have plus /parents its the one thing i love to fined

Hi Pat sorry to say you may never get it as many children in Ireland were never registered for some reason and in my father's family 3 childern were never registered also. Jim
