But are you sure that was St Alkmund's at the beginning - I thought it was the cathedral - I think I'd better watch it again - actually I'm definitely going to watch it again. Yes, I remember St Alkmund's well - never actually went there - but obviously you could see it from Irongate, and my mother used to frequent a butcher in King Street, with his sign "A Woolley, butcher" which used to amuse me no end - takes very little to make some people laugh. There was also a derelict chapel close to it which I regret the loss of - because of course it all went when the inner ring road was built. As you say it's nice to see St Alkmund's with the top of its spire.
