Dear Mr. Lloyd -

I am wondering if you would be able to provide any information regarding my ancestors buried in the church cemetery.  They are Evan Griffith, died July 26, 1850 and his wife Margaret Thomas, died Nov. 19, 1833.  I know their approximate birthdates as I have been to the church and found their grave maker.  I have no idea if there are any other family members buried there; i.e., parents, siblings, children.  I do know that their daughter Catharine married and moved to Pennsylvania in 1846.

Oh, I believe from the headstone that Evan's last place of residence was Cwm Uchaf.

Also, would any folks from Trefriw have used your church and cemetery?

Dear Holly,
Yes like you said they are buried in the churchyard Grave B049 on our memorial inscription records.
As you say Evan Griffiths died 26 July 1850 age 91. I have all the census returns 1841 - 1871, if they are of any help. The house seems to have been abandoned sometime after 1871 as it does not appear in the 1881 census. In 1851 Abram Evans seems to have taken over, perhaps the son of Evan Griffith. Contact me on my home email address and I will let you have the census info. I probable have some other information too,

Dear Mr. Lloyd - would there be a transcript of the burials at St. Julittas that is for sale?  I have found so many ancestors that would have been buried there that it would be great if a listing exists.  Thanks

Does anyone know if the Friends of St. Julitt's Capel Curig have a current website/membership?

I'm looking for information regarding a possible burial in 1807 for a David Roberts of Brynengan.  I see from another thread that this church was part of Llandegai parish.  Can anyone confirm?

I have come across your query about David Roberts who died at Capel Curig in 1807. Did you find out anything more about him ?
