I am looking for the Wyndow family, sometimes spelt Window. from Arlingham Glos. Found them in the1881 census, and 1871, but can't find them else where

I can see James in 1861, a servant in Arlingham.
He's a widower age 26, Cow Man, and I'm really struggling to read his birthplace.
Do you have access to census?
The reference is RG9/1770 33 7

Having a look for Emma now - or did you want to trace them forth  ???

The nearest match I see for James in 1841 is this one, at Stroud Union Workhouse:
HO107/349/13 69 11
Anne Window, 10, yes
James Window, 7, yes
George Window, 5, yes

Other 'Window's in the workhouse:
Sarah Window, 20, Female Servant, yes
Henry Window, 6 months, yes

The IGI at www.familysearch.org has the following christenings:

Ann Window 17 July 1831 Nympsfield, Gloucestershire
James Window 18 May 1834 Owlpen, Gloucestershire
George Window 29 January 1837 Horsley, Gloucestershire

Parents James Window and Eleanor for all 3.
(With a marriage James Window - Eleanor Pyler 30 Aug 1830 at Nympsfield)
Given that James states his birthplace as Horsley in 1871, I would keep these in mind.

I don't really know if he's the one in the workhouse. He's just the nearest match I can see.

IF it's him, then this should be him in 1851:
HO107/1958 254 3
Nymphsfield, Gloucestershire
The Barrow
Ellen Window, head, mar, 46, Farm servant, b. Nymphsfield
James, son, 17, Agr lab, b. do.

There is a death for an Eleanor Window in March 1881, age 77, Dursley registration district, but I'm unable to trace her so far  ???
