Henry Colver was born 1815 Earl Shilton. He was the brother of Joseph. I don't know anything about him. Would like to find him on any Census, esp. the 1841.
I think that their parents were Richard & Sarah.

You're right, it is very confusing.
There seem to be more Colver families all with similar names, at the same time, in the same area. It's a job matching who belongs to who.
The 1851 family that you found looks like mine as prob. Richard, the father could have died - but still not sure.

Thanks for the info anyway, I'll try and work it out.

Dear Inchworm

I think that you are trying to track down my Colver family heritage.  I am related to Joseph Colver (wife Jane) through his son George (born 1850).  George had two wives and 10 children!  My Great-Grandfather is his fifth child, Frank, to his first wife Eliza.  I am in the process to find out what happened to Frank's siblings.  So far I have traced two of his brothers but their is the elder brother and his sister that I am having trouble getting to find.

Would you like more information?

Cheers, tomcatnik2

And I'm descended from Joseph's brother William (1811).  Their parents were Thomas and Mary, and I have a fair amount of detail on all of their Colver descendants, but have never managed to pin down Thomas's parents.

Contact me of you want any more info.

Cheers
