Sarah -

Thanks for being the mod and setting up the slow typers room. Much appreciated.

debbie -

Not exactly sure what I did to the computer to have it act up like it did last night. It was quite windy and very very cold so maybe that caused the sudden seizure. Was embarrassed I couldn't get back in since Julian and I were theonly two slow typers in the room at the time. Guess because we were the slowest typers and couldn't exit as quickly as everyone else.

Did have a delightful time but was worried about all the time Pels spent in the corner. someone should watch to see what she was doing or does there.

Gadget -

Overall it was a very positive experience. The only problem I had was I could never get the colour to change. I will review your graphs / screens to see how thats done.

Definitely need a password.  Another administrivia job for ya.

I have discovered the reasons behind my slow typing. It takes too long for my thoughts to get from my brain to my fingers ..... problem is that my arms are too long. If I shorten them the thoughts will travel much quicker.

Better go and check my new message before wine time.

Changing the text colour:

If you click on the coloured button just above the typing strip (labelled Text colour, below) a popup box will appear with 'web friendly' colours, just click on which ever you would like and your text colour will change. To make your text bold, click on the 'B' button.

It's best to choose a colour that other people aren't using  :)

Well done all of you who ventured into new room last night! Hope to see you in main room soon.

Always good to have new folks coming in. Don't worry if it all goes bit fast. I found it fast when I started and my typing isn't the best.

lots of nice folks in there who can help with your research.

Come and join us we'd love to see you all

 :D

Ann - thankyou, I'm sure we'll get there in the end, grown up people behaving like children! Or children trying to act like people, not quite sure which!!  ::) ::)

Patrish, you would have enjoyed it last night, we didn't know what to say either! Kerry and I resorted to our favourite holiday destinations at one point!  ;D ;D

Nearly forgot, I couldn't get in - we must remember to tell Patrish that! I think that was where I went wrong the first time, when I went into that room on my own and couldn't get back out!!

I got private message pleas from Pels, Patrish, and had to give her instructions on how to get to the correct room - she managed it with panache  :)

Thats what I THOUGHT I tried last night. Very nice colour palette to choose from. I selected one of the yellows since no one else was using at the time. Print colour still came out white. Will try again next time I enter.

When will we get our password?

Ann -

Thanks for the nice comments. I am sure we will eventually end up in the room with the fast talkers. But first we need to practice thinking faster, practice typing faster and practice getting out of the corner faster.

Pels -

I believe Gadget meant getting out of the corner with panache.   ;)  ;)
