Kerry, we don't even know when they'll be able to set up a 'learners lounge' yet, so you may still be able to join us.

Patrish...I was thinking, I hope it won't be like an awkward telephone conversation but I teach conversation skills to children (amongst other things!!), I'll have us going in no time!!!

I am sitting here typing as fast as possible to practice!
I can't even text quickly  ..  ..  brain and fingers never seem to work together for some reason?  
Right you lot, I suppose we will have to learn the jargon!  
Can think of things to say but I will be chattering to myself because everyone will have gone on to the next topic!! You will then wonder who the mad woman is who keeps giving all the wrong answers!

As an oldie (but goodie) who has used the chat room for over two years......let me say this....

I don't use jargon....Ohhhh....Well once in a while I might LOL (Laughing out loud) but that's the scope of my jargon !!!!!

You don't have to answer every comment that is made.....Many times there are multiple conversations going on at once.....fun to watch....and sometimes it's fun to barge in and stick my 2 cents in!!! Nobody minds.

Lots of research gets done in the chat room......and it is liberally sprinkled with laughter !!

Come on in......we are a fun lot!

I recommend going in after midnight GMT and having a natter to Indie and her chums - great stuff 

Weekends are very quiet.

Pels - you don't need the jargon and if you can master those daft fielding positions, you can do anything
