That's OK Tony  :D Sharon and I are in league over this  8)
I just wish the 200 odd people who have read this would post a message of support, even if it is not their area; who knows tomorrow it might be their local resource closing down  :P

Hi Patricia,
Love a cause, do you want support via this thread to lobby or just support to the lobby web addresses you gave 8) I've get a large e-mail address book of like minded individuals who might be persuaded they have rellies in Limerick, but would also like to join if not.

Just for the Moderator it won't be though this site, just letting my e-mail friends know there is a problem in Limerick and can they support  :)

Cheers
Tony

Hi Tony, :)
I started this thread off by suggesting that folk might like to email the Irish Genealogy site . Sharon has joined me in the quest and her idea is to present her local councilors with the evidence taken from the responce here on Rootschat. Any help from your friends would be much appreciated. If you can get them to respond on here so much the better.
Thanks for your interest.

Hi Patricia,
You'll see from my footnote i'm after Franciscans, one of which, probably the most important from my research, is Bro. Patrick Dalton, from Glin, County Limerick, probably christened Michael was born in Glin, Limerick in 1837 and i can't confirm it cos the office is closed "INFURIATING" >:( >:( so will help all i can, to get records open for all  :)

Cheers
