Don't know how far back the Wills and Deeds go but if you could have a look for GARFIELD in Coventry, Stratford on Avon or Preston on Stour 1700-1800's, I would be eternally gratefully

Presumably you've found it now ;)
One tip, as this often happens to me also, is to click on the 'show replies to your posts', located at the top of your page on the right hand side (it's in red writing, well it is on my page) this will give you a list of all the threads you're interested in and any replies that have been posted.
