He appears in 1881, free to search at www.familysearch.org or www.ancestry.co.uk with wife and children.

There is a death registered for him in 1889.

Hi Cottingham,

What else would you like somebody to find for you?
Checking your previous posts, I even discovered that I had already given you the same 1861 census some time ago, and you already had the 1841 as well.

I think it would be nicer for the looker-ups to state the things you already have, so that we don't loose our time and concentrate on the elements that would actually help you.

Hi,

Sorry, didn't mean for you to waste your time doing look-ups for me, that had already been done. It was just that I was wondering if anyone had this person or his children in their information or family tree, especially having an unsual name.

It wasn't any specific census or information that I wanted, therefore I didn't post it in the look-ups section. Although I am very gratefull for the information that you have given me in the past and today.

Sorry, if it was wrong to post and ask for information.

I hope I didn't say you shouldn't have posted!!! I certainly didn't mean it.

When someone asks for 'any information', including ancestors and descendants, we tend to do census look-ups wherever it's posted, I guess.  :)

Have you seen this on the IGI?
POYNTZ STEWART WARD
Christening 18 DEC 1766   Barford, Warwick, England
Father CHARLES WARD
Mother ELIZABETH

I bet he's related  ;)

Hi,

Maybe I should have put a little more information about what I knew of this person, that I was looking for in my originally post. I'll know for next time.

I didn't know of any other Poyntz Stewart Ward's, so thank you for this information. I'll have to look into this and see if he is related.

Thank you once again for all the information that has been given, it is very much appreciated. :)

Hi,

Did you ever complete your research into Poyntz Ward?

I am descended from this family and have a lot of information I can share.
