looking for the Erskine family from Fife

Hi i am new at this and i am looking for information on the following

Deaths

Margaret Erskine nee Barclay death 1858 Cupar aged approx 53

Married a Peter Erskine in 1838?

Any help would be great.

I don't know where she was born either Peter.

Is there any free sites where you can look at free census's etc.  I looked at freecen but i am having trouble locating them.

Hi, thanks.

i have all the children etc i am just back to the marriage and margaret and peters births so i can go back further.  It is hard to work out parents names when the marriage was before 1855.  And being new at this i am still finding new sites etc with info.  obviously trying to get the info free first then going to paid websites if that fails.

I just looked on freecen but i cannot seem to locate the family i think it is because the freecen project still have areas which need transcribing so not all parishes are up and running yet for 1851

Heres a link to more FREE 1851 Census information.  Just put Erskine in the search engine here or suspected town name.  Also under what's new is David Stuarts 1851 Census with 64,000 names, there are a few Erskines here.

Have you got Margaret Erskine (nee Barclay's) deathcert? since she died in 1858 it will have at least HER PARENTS NAMES. (from Scotlandspeople- seems to be only 2 matches cross referencing Erskine and Barclay)

There are 2 matches for Peter Erskine in the 1841 census FOR HIS BIRTH COUNTY/PLACE at http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
PAYSITE.  There are no matches for Peter Erskine in 1851 (exact spelling).
