Elizabeth Hipworth(hepworth)
« on: Tuesday 09 May 06 12:19 BST (UK) »
I have a wedding for Elizabeth Hipworth(Hepworth) to Joseph McNally at
Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England on 11th August 1851.
Joseph and Elizabeth emigrated to australia in 1855 with a 2 yr old daughter mary & 1 yr old son John.
I am trying to trace both lines further back including their births, parents and beyond if possible. Will appreciate any help whatsoever. They are my paternal great great grandparents

Hi Kevin

Can't identify them on the 1851 prior to their marriage.  Nothing coming up that would fit Joseph.  The only Elizabeth Hipworth is age 22 born Salford and living with her grandmother Ann Case in Salford.

You may have to get their marriage cert to obtain both their ages, father's names and occupations which would help to identify them in 1851.

The reference for the marriage is Elizabeth Hipworth/Joseph McNally, Manchester - September Quarter Vol XX Page 525.

Hope this helps.

Regards ... Sheila
