Not a rude name, but I see that there were loads of people named DEATH living in Suffolk in the 19th century.

I suppose that's one way of ensuring you remain single, especially if you're a man! Mrs. Death!

I thought I was going potty last night when I did a posting with the name C o c k Lodge.  It kept coming up Thingy Lodge.  At first I thought I had had a blackout as I didn't remember typing it.

Hi

Went out to get pizza tonight and while waiting was reading the names coming up on the screen to see how long before my order was ready and what should I see but the name Death. Thought to myself this weird just read a posting on Rootschat with that name mentioned. While still waiting for my order the person came in to pick up theirs and pronounced the name as Deeth. Think the guy behind the counter wasn't sure it was the right order until he spelled the name.

For a short while in the sixties I did have a doctor called Death!! 

I think its pronounced Dee ath

I did once work with three people called Waggett, Suggett and Howgego.
And yes he was called Willie Waggett
