 I am looking for a marriage,the family are living in Brighton in 1841,Soloman Gatton Born 1816 and his wife was Caroline ?

Any info Please

Only marriage I could find on IGI was

22 SEP 1845   Saint Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex, England
Solomon Gatton to Caroline Cooper
Father George Gatton

Hi Julie

In the Sussex Index, although there are some 70 Gatton marriages, there is not a Soloman listed; niether is there a Caroline marrying any of the other Gattons - so looks as though it did not take place in Sussex before 1837.

I wonder if Julie meant 1851 anyway - I think I can see Solomon in 1841 on his own (and not in Brighton).

Sorry Everyone I meant to put soloman on th 1861 census :-[,
so I think Soloman married Caroline Cooper is the right one
