1841 sheffield oates and ogden marriage
« on: Friday 15 October 04 15:38 BST (UK) »
Trying to find out about a marriage between a Benjamin Oates (coalminer) and a Harriet Ogden. They lived in Sheffield and had lots of children. These are the children I'm sure about:
Ben b.1847 (Attercliffe)
Esther b.1850
Arthur b.1852/3
Charles b.1853/5
Caroline b.1855/6

I think there were more kids.
The family went to live in Swinton in the 1860s.
Why is is so difficult to find out about Sheffielders?
Any help gratefully received!

Hi Racey

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
