Congratulations Kerry!  I know the feeling - I've managed to get back another generation on a few lines too.

Ancestry have done a remarkable job on this one compared to other's.  I've had very few problems.  Therefore I commiserate with those who have, mind you I have had to use lateral thinking a few times and look at soundex!

Beware there are some missing pages

I already have one family member for the Genealogist in Denton, Lancs, so I have the HO107 etc number

This is missing from Ancestry at present

Me too!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Was hoping to find a few children untraceable on other censuses, but no luck so far :(

It doesn't help that they didn't say what county they were born in >:( nevermind, I'll keep searching for them.

I'm very disappointed also - a lot of mine seem to be missing.  Combination of hard to read images and missing pages, I guess!  So far, the 1841 is a damp squib for me!  Congrats to those who have broken through brick walls, and commiserations to those who are like me!!!  :(  :'(

It's taking me a while to properly understand how to fine tune the search on the 1841. For example, I was looking for a family living in Armley, Leeds, Yorks.

If I put Armley in the Civil Parish box, I get no results.
If I put Bramley Ward in the Civil Parish box, I get all the Armley people.
Putting Armley in the Keyword box also gave me all the Armley people.
If I put Leeds in any box, there are too many to sort through.

GenUKI and the Gazetteer of UK Names are getting a bit of a hammering from me at the moment!  :D
