Yipeeee!!!!!!!!! ;D
I've been waiting for this for ages for some of my lines in carmarthenshire ( it's the only year I haven't got on discs for the area), funny I don't think my emails from ancestry have mentioned it at all - they slipped that one in quietly haven't they.

I'm not going to get any work done today now lol... I'm back off to ancestry, I've already found one of my lot - now to find the rest of the others

Thanks for letting us know! yippee again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Thanks - I had missed that one.  Right, I'm off to get the paints out and put a video on for my 4 year old so that I can have a search.

Just shows what a mob of obsessives we are - all rejoicing (including me!)  But I don't actually have Ancestry, so will have to possess my soul in patience till I can get the info checked that I need!!!  8) 8)

In the meantime - enjoy, all you lucky people who are right into it as I type!!!  ;D

1841 census on-line at ancestry
« Reply #34 on: Friday 21 April 06 12:55 BST (UK) »
I've just been searching on ancestry and have found tht the 1841 census is now included.

Already I've been able to check out a couple of family queries, and sorted out a couple of parents -  ;D  ;D
oh no -looks like I'll be stuck to the PC even more now following everyone up for 1841.  :D  :D

Does anyone know if it has full coverage?

Mark

After reading your post I went straight to the Ancestry site and, first of all to check it out, I tried some names I already have from the 1841 census without any success. Tried absolutely anything but no joy.

Anybody else having probs?

Marie.
