Sorry no Bacroft, Becroft or Beecroft or anything like them in 1851 census for Bethnal Green.

I did find in the index for Shoreditch sub disrtict Hoxton New Town HO 107/1535 folio 544 a BEERCROFT family
and
Shoreditch sub disrict Haggerstone Wets HO 107/1527 folio 598 a BECRAFT family.

This is a surname index only and you will have to look at the original to see who is there

1851 Bethnal Green sub district Green HO 107/1540 folio 687

John Wittenbury age 84 born Bishopsgate.

There were no Whittenburys
