Just looked again at my information posting and I didn't really mean mid to late 1900s, I meant between 1910 and 1930 say. I guess that if they emigrated as unmarried women, they would have been in their 20s or 30s, so that makes it between 1915 and 1925.

hi my grandmother was helen hannah slater she lived in lanigan saskatchewan and she had 7 children. one is my mother. i had an aunt jessie. she hadi think about five children. adam and jane from crail had fourteen children. i met my great uncle andrew when i was in scotland many years ago. i have also been to the kirk of crail and have seen adam and janes graves ( my great grandparents)
