1841 - Iden BLACKMAN, Cranbrook, Kt
« on: Friday 21 April 06 18:52 BST (UK) »
Iden BLACKMAN was listed under "Grocery and Tea Dealers" in Pigots 1840 Directory for Cranbrook, Kent.  His address was Willsleygreen/Willsley Green.

If anyone comes across Iden on the 1841 census for Cranbrook, please let me know.

This could be Iden, born 1765 in Newenden, son of Joseph Blackman and Ann FOWLE.

Any further info re Iden would be appreciated.

Thanks from Moltom

Many thanks, Barbara.

This is obviously the Iden in Pigot's, but too young to be the son of Joseph and Ann.

However, with a name like "Iden", there must surely be a connection.

Good luck with your own research.
