It's been a long time since your post but I'm new to RootsChat. Do you know if James Mooney might have ended up in Dublin? I have an ancestor named James Mooney, my ggggrandfather, born around the same time as yours, but I'm not sure where he was born. His daughter married a man fresh from Kildare (Monasterevin), so I wonder whether the families knew each other. Here's what I know:
