Hi donb, can't seem to pinpoint him on any of the census', have found a possible birth cert

Thomas Millard
Dec quarter 1870
Bedwelty, Mon
11a
108

have found a few Thomas Miller's on the census' with father George, possible that they were misspelt.

Regards
Kate.

Hi Kate
There should also have been a sister Martha but she seems also uinable to be found, she should be about 2 or 3 years old
Any luck with her?

Hello donb
The Family are in  Bedwellty parish
They seem to have changed their name from Millard
to Miller from 1871 to 1891. Mother Harriet(Widow) has reverted to Millard in 1901
Father George was born in Wedmore Somerset.C 1835
Married Harriet ?  c 1842.Monmouthshire.
Have found several of the children (including  Martha)born Bedwelty under the name Millard, Children born after 1879
are registered as Miller.

In 1881 George has changed his christian name to William
aged 40 .

Do you have access to Ancestry?
Will save a lot of typing if you have.

That info. is great. I know very little about my ancestors but what little I do know ties in with what you have found out. bearing in mind the occupations you have proved to be a "mine" of information.
Thanks a lot
