so i thought i found him george wileman b 1886 kingsbury to charles wileman and mary jane barker
and he married my gt gt grandma adelaide salisbury in nuneaton in 1913 so he must have been born before 1897 or he couldnt have married

Usually, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission lists the wife's name; sometimes both the wife's name and the parents' names.

Since the wife's name is not listed, perhaps it is simply a coincidence and "the Stoker" George Wileman was a single man.

After all, George is a popular name.

PS.
An alternative explanation may be that a lonely war widow found some happiness and then gave birth to your great grandfather. Not an uncommon story for those days.

that could be an explanation uk girl but she would have found happiness another 7 times between 1916 and 1923 and told them all there father was george wileman

as her and george had 8 children together all in nuneaton regards jason  :)

Hello again,

Well it's definitely a good thing to know that she had SO MUCH happiness ;D. I am very pleased for her.

So, it looks as if it was simply a coincidence?? Your George's death must have been much later.
