Hello David,
I am new to this site and I have been going back through old messages. I have some old photos of Cross St and Frog St. Swansea which I obtained from the County Hall in Swansea. I would gladly forward them to you if I am able to do so. I have an interest in the JOHNSON family who lived in the Strand, Frog St, Rutland Street etc. George Johnson was my gt.gt.gt. grandfather. I also found a photograph of a headstone for Nicholas Johnson in St Marys Parish Church - possibly George's father and brother of John - Little Wind Street. George's daughter Mary Ann married Peter Perrins who was accidentally killed in 1871. I have the copy death certs. for both George Johnson and Peter Perrins. If Nicholas Johnson was buried on 8/11/1844 I thought I would find a record of his death on the GRO but I couldn't find it. Mary Ann Johnson later married a Richard Reynish.
If you have any further information or can verify a link between us I would like to hear from you,

Kind regards

John Passmore
