The family was found mostly in and around London, particularly the south-east (e.g. Beckenham, Greenwich, Woolwich, Plumstead), and the nearby areas of Kent (e.g. West Wickham, Hayes) and Surrey (e.g. Shirley, Croydon). However, the more recent branches are also found in many other places in England (e.g. Dover, Plymouth) and overseas (e.g.Bermuda).
