cant find Peter at all anywhere

there are Grahams headstones in nearby Cemeteries

there are 3 MIs in the book but as Norrie says for female Grahams: Janet Graham Stewart w/o Thomas stewart buried feb 1921 aged 90: Agnes graham w/o Charles smith 6/11/1822 -14/2/1914 & their sons & daughters : Christina graham w/o John trotter 1/2/1911 age 79.

if any of these are of interest I can send full inscription.

Many thanks for the response.  What I have is an entry in the family Bible which states "my mother dyed at Pitscottie Easter August 23 1736".  Below that is written (in the same handwriting) " James (Jamy) Graham and Margaret Nicolson was married St Andrews 24 April 1741" and "my daughter Euphan Grahame was born 9 July 1742 and baptised the 15th by Mr Mc Cormack".  In the front of the Bible it states that James' father was a Charles Graham, son of Robert Graham and Elizabeth Dalgleish (no wife mentioned).

A request that I put up on the Fife page indicated that a Ann Grahame (Russell) was buried on the 25 August 1736 at Ceres which would appear to possibly be the same 'mother'.  Her husband was a John Grahame and they married on 18 January 1687.   The Bible has no mention of either a John or Ann, so I am now really confused and was hoping that a couple of Graham headstones might fit in with the information I have so that I could clear the matter up!

but she is only a graham by marriage not birth

Thank you very much, but I seem to be more confused than ever.  The family tree was going really well until I found the bit about the mother dying! 

I do have a Robert Graham who lived and owned a 'few' in Valleyfield near Queensferry dated 1686 which he then passed on to his son (I think Charles) who then sold it on to his brother Lawrence.  Lawrence then sold it to his son William.

In theory the dates given for the tombstone for Robert could fit, but I will have to get hold of a map as I know he married twice - one in Culcross and the second time in Carnbee and I have no idea where they are in relation to Ceres.

This family tree business is really not for sissies
