Hi

I'm trying to find out the dates of death for husband and wife - Robert Johnston and Margaret Blyth of Newburgh.  Wondering if there are MIs for them?  Robert was born 1775 and Margaret in 1777.

Thanks in advance.

hi, no MI's in the book - there are other Johnstons/Blyths.

the only listings in Newburgh on fife death index are

Robert Johnston 23/8/1835 s/o james & Janet Dall (which suggests a child)

Margaret Johnston 4/9/1797 (no other details)

Hi Diddy

Thanks for checking for me, much appreciated.  The Robert Johnston you found is one of mine...I would imagine Margaret is probably one of mine too, just can't work out where she fits in ;D

Hi JoT,

Any chance you have a HAGGARTY, Charles? Possibly died between 1802 and 1807.

Also HAGGARTY, Janet or GILLESPIE, Janet died abt 1864

Thanks,

no Haggarty/Haggertys coming up on the death index - do you have a place for the MI's listings?

Found George Sinclair, burial 27 Jun 1830 age 56, abode Auchtermuchty.

Alexander Bailie Sinclair died 11 Oct 1838 age 57, abode Newburgh (additional info Fifeshire Journal).

Also Alexander Sinclair died 1811, age nk, Naval Commander of HM gunbrig-"Fancy", husband of Mary Ann Sinclair. Abode Culross, Castlehill.

Mary Sinclair buried 13 Sep 1730 daughter of David Sinclair
Mary Sinclair died 5 May 1842 buried 8 May 1842 age 30 abode Dunfermline, cause, dropsy.
Mrs Mary Sinclair died Sep 1721 age nk sister of Lord Henry Sinclair, abode Dysart.

Nothing under the name "Temple" & nothing for Charles or Moncrieff Sinclair.

Hope this helps. ;)
