Margaret doesn't ring any bells at the moment but possibly a sister of one of my Betts.   I'll check all my notes and get back to you.  Many thanks.

Can you tell me if there are any MI's for people with the surname "Smart" in either Collessie/Ladybank or Falkland areas?  I have many relations with this name but in particular anyone with the name William (b c 1772, no death date but his wife was Margaret Dingwall).
Also any Heggies buried in the Forgan area e.g. Andrew b 1730? Just a yes or no will do.  I'm  considering purchasing the MI's but just want to know if the info I want is in the publication.

Many, many thanks,
McGraw

Hey Diddy....me again!!

Can you tell me if there is anywhere in your trusty book a record for Alexander Easton and his wife Nelly Balflower?  Alexander b. circa 1760 and I am assuming same for Nelly.  Guessing they were possibly married in the Abbotshall, Kirkcaldy area.  They would have died after 1810.

If you do come across them hopefully it will give me a little more information and direction to search in.

Thanks...MJ

Diddy:  Thanks for looking.  Back to the drawing board.

Ostler:  No conversation on Lees that I can think of.  I have been in touch with Tanjilees, we have ancestors in common.  Do you have Lees in your line too?

Hi JoT,

Could you kindly do me a look up for Logie - particularly interested in SMITH.

Also looking for a Robert Smith who died between 1806 (birth of son) and 1841 (his widow appears in Census) - possible locations are Logie, Kilmany or Dairsie.

Thank you. Hi I have smith in my tree from fife - wonder if your robert could be one of mine - do you know his parents names - kind regards bambie

Bambie -

Oops just noticed your question - Hi I have smith in my tree from fife - wonder if your robert could be one of mine - do you know his parents names - kind regards bambie - which was buried inside the quote.

I have no specific details on Robert Smith other than he married a Helen Lyall in 1805 in Cupar and they had a son William who went on to live in Logie for many many years. His widow Helen appears in the 1841 census. Any information on your Robert Smith welcome (but I thinks we have may have communicated before under another Post/Thread).
Cheers, plays54
