Hi have been reading threads and maybe your book can help. We have a John Trotter died 12/01/1837 his certificate says he died in the Colinsbro area . He had children registered as born in Dunino , i have no idea where he would be buried , could you please check your listing for us . We thank you very much for the service you are giving. His children ended up in Kilconquhar, Dunfermline,Leuchars and Australia and Tasmania . very far flung.Grandchildren worked at Kincraig.
 Kind regards
 Ruth

Hi diddy ,im back. thank you for your info on John Trotter Dunino. That cleared up some puzzles.
I wondered do you have any Mary Trotters Mi.. in Fife
I have a Mary trotter born 1806 Dunino and then nothing , its possible she married a John hunter but cant confirm.
I also have another Mary trotter who for two census lives in Leuchars 1841-5yo and1851 15yo  born1838 the daughter of a John Trotter and Flora Rogers. Do you have her in Leuchars on an MI?she was living with a family Donaldson at the saw mill Leuchars then i cant trace her.
Thanks for any info you may have.
 Kind regards
 Ruth (Australia)

only one mary trotter on fife death CD - far too early.

MI's: no other Trotters in Dunino & none in Leuchars.  arranged by place then surname so difficult to search.

I was wondering whether there is a inscription for a John Dickson who died in 1817 at Ferry Port on Craig, but buried at Forgan 11 May 1817. His wife Elizabeth Wemyss died 1783 at Ferry Port on Craig. They were married in 1775 so he's likely to have been in his 60's.
